Taman Maznah, Klang Live Cam

The channel at Taman Maznah is completely carpeted with water hyacinth, so the camera looks down on a sheet of green rather than open water. Only a narrow strip of open water is left at the edges.

A pump house with barred openings stands at the right of the frame, the concrete bank runs across the middle, and beyond it a quiet residential street curves past white walled houses and a row of shophouses. A van is parked at the kerb in this picture.

The hyacinth is worth watching in its own right: it spreads across a still channel within weeks, gets cleared, and comes back. When it covers the surface like this, level changes are much harder to read here than at the cameras with a depth staff.
