Pekan Meru, Sungai Kapar Besar Live Cam

The camera at Pekan Meru looks straight down at the walled channel of Sungai Kapar Besar, with a yellow depth staff fixed to the far bank. The staff is the brightest thing in the frame.

The water is the colour of milky coffee, as it usually is here, and the concrete revetment on the far side carries a scalloped parapet and a wavy green railing above it. A small kiosk, a parked pickup and a stretch of car park complete the frame.

The staff gauge is the point of this view: it turns a picture into a number anyone can read off directly. Of the Klang cameras this one has the most engineered channel — straight, walled on both sides and cleared of vegetation.
