Motoyawata Station South Exit, Ichikawa Live Cam

This elevated view looks south over the plaza at the south exit of Motoyawata Station in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture. The long station roof and several rail lines fill the lower part of the frame.

Motoyawata Station sits on the JR Sobu Line in Ichikawa, a city in western Chiba Prefecture that borders Tokyo along the Edogawa River. Local trains stop here, while rapid services on the parallel tracks pass through without stopping. South of the station, narrow streets are packed with shops, restaurants and karaoke venues.

Beyond the roof, a small circular rotary with a planted island and painted markings sits among mid-rise buildings with billboards, including signs for a pachinko parlour and a sauna and capsule hotel.
