Malpasso Beach, Livorno Live Cam

Malpasso is a beach under the cliffs at Finale Ligure, in the province of Savona on the Italian Riviera. The camera looks along the sand towards the headland.

The rock behind is limestone, and it is the reason the town fills with climbers: the crags above Finale hold thousands of bolted routes and were among the first places in Europe developed for sport climbing.

The road along the cliff is the Via Aurelia, following the line of the Roman road of the same name from Rome to the French border. Where the cliffs come down to the water it runs through tunnels cut in the nineteenth century.
