Corniglia, Cinque Terre Live Cam

This fixed view shows the village of Corniglia, perched on a promontory above the Ligurian Sea in the Cinque Terre. Tightly packed, colourful houses stand against open sea on the right side of the frame.

Corniglia lies in the province of La Spezia in Liguria, on a promontory about 100 metres high. It is the only one of the five Cinque Terre villages not directly on the water, and from the railway station it is reached by a long brick staircase called the Lardarina or by a road.

The camera looks across terraced hillside toward the village from the land side, with a road and parked cars at the bottom of the frame and the sea horizon on the right. In the afternoon the sun is in front of the lens and can cast glare over the houses.
