Gulf of La Spezia, Italy Live Cam

This live webcam looks out over the Gulf of La Spezia from the villages on the hill between Lerici and La Spezia, in Liguria, Italy. The HD view faces La Spezia and Porto Venere, with Palmaria Island and the smaller Tino Island in sight, seen from the Riviera di Levante ("the coast of the rising sun").

The image also takes in the 2,210 m long outer breakwater at the entrance to the gulf, between Cape S. Maria in the west and Cape S. Teresa in the east. The gulf is about 4,5 km long and 3,5 km wide and is known as the Gulf of Poets, as the area has inspired many poets. To view this location on the map, scroll down the page.
