Gibilmanna, Cefalù Live Cam

This webcam in Contrada Gibilmanna, in the hills above Cefalù, looks out over a pine-covered ridge toward the Tyrrhenian Sea. A distant island rises from the horizon, and power lines and pylons cross the view.

Gibilmanna is a hamlet in the municipality of Cefalù, in the Palermo province of Sicily. It stands on the northern edge of the Madonie mountains at roughly 780 metres above sea level, about six kilometres south of the seaside town, and is known for its sanctuary.

The frame is fixed. On the left the sea stretches to a clear horizon, while on the right the ridge climbs through Mediterranean pines and scrub with a few pale rocky outcrops. A tree frames the left edge of the view.
