Tindari Cape View, Furnari Live Cam

This hillside webcam near Furnari looks north over the Tyrrhenian coast toward Capo Tindari and the Aeolian Islands. A terracotta roof fills the lower right of the frame, while olive groves and farmland slope down to the sea.

Furnari is a small comune in the province of Messina in north-eastern Sicily. The camera stands in Contrada Condurso, a farming district inland from the coast, about nine kilometres south-east of Capo Tindari. The cape is the steep headland on the left, topped by the Sanctuary of Tindari, with the coastal town at its foot. To the right the shoreline runs on across the plain toward Milazzo.

The camera is fixed and always shows this one panorama. On clear days the silhouettes of the Aeolian Islands stand out on the horizon, while in hazy weather they fade and only the cape and the nearest fields remain visible.
