Santuario Maria Santissima delle Grazie, Alia Live Cam

This webcam looks out from the Santuario Maria Santissima delle Grazie over the rooftops of Alia, a hill town in the Palermo province of Sicily. Behind the town a hillside of scrub and olive groves rises to a rounded summit, with higher ridges on the horizon.

The sanctuary stands in the upper part of Alia at about 730 metres above sea level, giving the camera a wide panorama of the town and the hills. The central summit is Pizzo Roxiura at 930 metres, with Monte San Calogero, 1,326 metres, closing the view on the right and the Pizzo Cane and Pizzo della Trigna ridges on the left.

The camera is fixed and looks north. Terracotta roofs and narrow streets fill the lower half of the frame, with a main street running toward the hills.
