Live Aquarium Webcams

What aquarium webcams show

Aquarium webcams stream from tanks in public aquariums and ocean centres: shark tanks, coral reef exhibits, kelp forests, jellyfish halls, penguin and sea otter enclosures. The water is clear and well lit, so these cameras give some of the sharpest views of sea life anywhere.

A large tank is calming to watch, which is why many people keep an aquarium stream on in the background. Feeding sessions are the liveliest moments: divers enter the tank, fish crowd around, sharks circle closer. Penguins and otters keep regular routines of feeding, play and grooming that become familiar after a few visits.

Aquariums are indoor worlds, so weather and seasons hardly matter; the rhythm follows opening hours. During the day visitors' silhouettes sometimes pass in front of the glass, and at night some tanks dim their lights to imitate dusk, which changes how the fish behave. Maintenance or tank cleaning occasionally takes a camera offline for a while.
