Shark Lagoon, California, view 2 Live Cam

An underwater webcam films the Shark Lagoon tank at the Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco, California. Fish drift past the lens over a pale sand floor, with a ray moving along the bottom at the edge of the frame.

The aquarium is part of the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, a building that also holds a rainforest dome and a planetarium under a living roof. The lagoon tank holds reef sharks, rays and more than a dozen fish species together.

Feeding happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays and pulls everything to one end of the tank. This is the second of two views of the same lagoon in the catalogue.
