The Bird Deck, Jackson Live Cam

This camera on the deck of The Bird, a bar on Highway 89 south of Jackson, looks across the valley toward distant mountains. String lights hang over a wooden railing, with a spruce, parked trucks and autumn trees filling the middle of the view.

The Bird stands a few miles south of Jackson Town Square, at the back of a small commercial strip beside the highway. The deck sits above the valley floor, and local guides describe its view as reaching over the Snake River valley to the Snake River Range.

The wide-angle camera is fixed and includes the railing, benches and the parking area below the deck. Cars and trucks come and go, the trees turn yellow in autumn, and the mountain ridge on the horizon stays visible until cloud settles over it.
