Carter Green, Carmel Live Cam

The Palladium stands at the head of Carter Green in Carmel, a suburb north of Indianapolis, with its portico facing the lawn. The webcam looks north across the grass towards the columns.

The hall opened in 2011, seats 1,600 and was built in limestone on the model of a Palladian villa, at a cost argued about in the town for years afterwards. It anchors an arts centre with two smaller theatres beside it.

Carmel is better known among traffic engineers for something else entirely: the city has replaced nearly all of its signalised junctions with roundabouts, more than 150 of them, and claims the highest count anywhere in the United States.
