Champex La Breya, Switzerland Live Cam

La Breya is a small ski area above Champex-Lac, in the Valais on the Swiss side of the Mont Blanc massif. The webcam looks out from the top of the chairlift.

The village below sits on a shelf at 1,470 metres around a lake, and the Tour du Mont Blanc walking route comes through it, which is why a place of a few hundred people has as many beds as it does.

An alpine botanic garden on the slope holds four thousand mountain species from around the world, planted on a rock outcrop since 1927. The peaks on the horizon are the Grand Combin and the ridges towards the Grand Saint Bernard.
