Kálnica is a village in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom District of the Trenčín Region, and a small ski centre operates here. The district takes its name from the town of Nové Mesto nad Váhom in the Váh river valley. The hillside in the frame is open and broad, with a single lift line running up towards the tree line. Forested hills surround the site.
