Náměstí Práce, Zlín Live Cam

This camera looks across Náměstí Práce in the centre of Zlín, where a wide lawn lies in front of red-brick industrial buildings. A tall brick-clad office block stands on the left, a white high-rise on the right, and the cooling tower of a heating plant rises beyond the rooftops.

Zlín is a city in the Zlín Region of eastern Czechia, and its centre grew around the Baťa shoe factory. The numbered brick buildings across the road, such as the one marked 14, and the Dům kultury with its sign belong to that factory district. A busy road runs along the far edge of the lawn, and wooded hills with housing estates close the horizon.

The easiest landmark to spot is the large Zlín lettering at the edge of the lawn. The camera changes its framing during the day, so some frames show more hillside and sky, others more of the lawn and car park.
