Bucegi Mountains, Bușteni Live Cam

This camera looks across the rooftops of Bușteni to the rocky ridges of the Bucegi Mountains in the Southern Carpathians. The jagged Caraiman massif rises above the forested slopes behind the town.

Bușteni lies at the foot of the Bucegi range in the Prahova Valley, and its slopes climb steeply from the town to bare rock. The Heroes' Cross, a national monument, stands on the Caraiman ridge above the town. Hiking trails and a cable car start in and around Bușteni.

The camera is fixed and frames red tiled house roofs and a few trees in the foreground, with the mountain wall filling the upper half. Pointed peaks stand at the left of the frame and the broader massif fills the centre, while houses and dark conifers climb the slope on the right.
