Weather and time
This camera looks across the Shinkoji River at Yasaki Bridge in Nogaya, Machida, toward a diamond-patterned concrete wall. A ladder, a long gauge staff and three coloured level plates are mounted on the wall above a shallow stream.
The station is in Nogaya 3-chome, about 330 m from Tsurukawa Station and close to where the Shinkoji River meets the Tsurumi River. The temple Myogyo-ji stands about 150 m to the north-east, and Nogaya Sora to Midori no Mori Park is about 200 m to the north-west. The river itself rises in Shinkoji-cho in Machida.
The frame is a close, flat view of the revetment through a metal railing, so the wall and its markings are easy to read. The red, orange and green plates mark the flood danger, caution and standby water levels, a grassy bank with a fence runs along the top, and ivy grows at the right end of the wall.
