Sakai River at Tsuruma, Machida Live Cam

This camera looks across the Sakai River at Tsuruma in Machida, where a broad, shallow channel runs below a lattice-patterned concrete wall. A round stormwater outfall opens into the wall above the water, and a striped gauge staff is fixed to the slope beside it.

The station is in Tsuruma 1-chome, on a stretch where the river is the boundary between Machida and the city of Yamato in Kanagawa. Kitayamato Elementary School in Yamato is about 450 m to the southwest, and Tsuruma Park lies about 600 m to the southeast.

A trimmed hedge and a wire fence run along the top of the wall, and grass fills the bottom of the frame. The riverbed shows through the shallow water, and the gauge staff and the outfall give a reference for the water level.
