Saigyodo River at Shinmei Bridge, Kasugai Live Cam

Downstream from Shinmei Bridge, the Saigyodo River in Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture, flows through a narrow channel below a tall retaining wall. The camera looks along the concrete-lined bed as it curves gently to the right in the distance.

The Saigyodo River is a small river that crosses the Ushiyama district in the western part of Kasugai. The camera sits just below the bridge, where a main road crosses the water. Above the wall on the left stands the side of a large building, while utility poles and power lines rise beyond the far bend.

Below the bridge the bed is a mix of stones, grass and a smooth sloped concrete apron that carries the low flow. On the right, a rust-colored fence and gravel strip separate the channel from the bank path.
