Michi-no-Eki Woody Keihoku, Kyoto Live Cam

This camera overlooks the car park and shop buildings of Michi-no-Eki Woody Keihoku, a roadside station in Keihoku, northwest Kyoto. A zebra crossing and blue-marked accessible parking bays run across the foreground, with forested hills behind.

Keihoku is a forested mountain district of Ukyo Ward that joined Kyoto City in 2005. The station stands beside National Route 162, the Shuzan Kaido, which links Kyoto with the Wakasa coast. It has a direct-sale shop for local produce and wooden crafts and a small cafe and take-out corner.

The fixed camera shows the whole front of the main building, the crosswalk and rows of parking spaces, with a larger gray-roofed building behind. Cars pull in and out, and shoppers walk along the covered frontage.
