Piazza Risorgimento, Calvera Live Cam

This webcam looks over Piazza Risorgimento in Calvera, a small hill village in the Basilicata part of the Pollino area. A round cobbled square lined with trees fills the foreground, with white houses climbing a wooded slope behind it.

Calvera is a comune in the province of Potenza, built at about 630 metres above sea level on the slopes of Monte Mancino. It lies in the northern part of the Pollino National Park and looks out over the Serrapotamo valley.

The camera sits high above the square, so the whole paved circle, marked by a white oval line, is visible together with the road bending past its left side. Cars park along the edge, and benches stand under the trees on the right.
