Weather and time
This webcam looks along a curving street into the hillside village of Castronuovo di Sant'Andrea in Basilicata. Stone and plastered houses climb the slope above the road, with wooded hills rising behind them.
Castronuovo di Sant'Andrea is a comune in the province of Potenza at about 650 metres above sea level and is one of the member comuni of the Pollino National Park. The village is known for the International Museum of Graphic Art, which is housed in the Palazzo Marchesale.
The camera looks down from an upper level onto the street, with a tall evergreen hedge on the left and a rounded building on the right. Parking signs stand beside the bend in the road, and a cobbled lane runs uphill next to a rough stone house. Higher up, more houses step up the slope toward the wooded hills.
