Poudrantais Beach, Pénestin Live Cam

This camera overlooks the beach and slipway at Poudrantais in Pénestin, on the Morbihan coast of southern Brittany. A sandy tidal beach, a paved ramp running down to it and a car park on a grassy bank are in view, with moored boats on the water.

Pénestin lies in the south-east of the Morbihan department, close to the mouth of the Vilaine. Its coast is known for ochre-coloured cliffs and wide beaches, and the beach at Poudrantais has a boat ramp and a sailing club. The tide range is large, so at low water the sand and rocky flats reach far out from the shore.

The camera turns between several views. One looks along the ramp with a flag in the foreground, another down the beach toward a rock outcrop below the cliffs, and a third out over the flats to moored boats and the open sea.
