Port de la Santé Cam Live

Port de la Santé lies at Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the French coast between Nice and Monaco, under this view. Small boats lie packed along the quay, a motor yacht is moored at the outer berth, and café umbrellas fill the near corner of the frame.

The harbour sits on the Quai de l'Amiral Courbet at the foot of the old town, whose ochre houses climb the slope behind it. Villefranche has two harbours: this one and the older Darse, built as a naval port in the eighteenth century, further round the bay.

The camera pans along the quay and out across the water. The bay is deep enough for cruise ships to anchor offshore, and their tenders come in to the landing beside these moorings.
