La Perroche Beach, Oléron Live Cam

This camera overlooks La Perroche beach on the south-west side of Oléron, with a broad strip of sand and tidal flats in front of the lens. Its view alternates between a wide shot of open water and a look along the dunes.

La Perroche is a family beach near the village of La Rémigeasse, in the commune of Dolus-d'Oléron, and has a sailing school and a mooring area. A row of black-and-white striped posts runs across the upper sand, and dark lines of seaweed mark where the water has pulled back across the flats.

The sea-facing view is open and low: a small island sits on the horizon, boats rest on the shallows, and the sky fills most of the frame. The second view turns toward the shore, where a curve of pale sand borders grass-covered dunes edged by a line of white stones, with scattered trees behind.
