Golf Course, Levi Live Cam

Fairway and pond of an 18-hole golf course at the foot of Levi fell in Kittilä, Finnish Lapland, seen from a rooftop. A shallow pond with reeds lies in front, with grass fairways beyond and spruce and pine forest along the right bank.

The course spreads over flat ground east of Levi fell, and Lake Taalojärvi lies inside its grounds. The clubhouse with a restaurant stands on Golfväylä in Sirkka, near the Levi Six chairlift. The playing season is short this far north, but around midsummer the midnight sun gives enough light for rounds late into the night.

The fixed camera looks down the course from a raised position, past the pond to a small bridge and hut by the trees and a low fell on the horizon. In autumn a narrow strip of snow along the tree line on the right carries a track for early cross-country skiers.
