Backyard Chicken Coop, Nové Město nad Metují Live Cam

A camera in a backyard in Nové Město nad Metují watches a wooden chicken coop and its fenced run beneath a large walnut tree. White hens scratch the bare ground among fallen leaves and nuts, climb the ramp to the raised coop and gather around a metal feeder.

Nové Město nad Metují lies in the Hradec Králové Region, about 7 kilometres south of Náchod and 25 kilometres north-east of Hradec Králové. Its historic centre on the Metuje River keeps the Church of the Holy Trinity from 1519 and a castle that is open to visitors. The coop stands on private land, so its exact address is not published.

The view does not move: the red-brown coop on stilts fills the left side and the thick tree trunk the right, while a green mesh fence closes the run with a lawn beyond. A low stone edging crosses the run, and at night the picture switches to black and white.
