South Base, Blue Mountain Live Cam

A fixed camera at South Base faces a broad grassy lawn with a chairlift line climbing the wooded hill of Blue Mountain, Ontario. In the daytime frames the lawn is crossed by two long rope lines, and autumn colour covers the trees along the lift.

The South Base Lodge stands in this part of the resort, southeast of the Village, and houses guest services, rentals and the beginner area where weekend lessons run in winter. The resort stretches along the Niagara Escarpment near Collingwood, with this base at its southern end.

The flat lawn fills the lower half of the frame while the slope rises toward the upper right. Lift towers and chairs trace the line of the hill, a small brown hut stands at the left edge, and a faint dirt track crosses the slope above the lawn. Shadow movement on the grass is the clearest change through the day.
