The field at Viracopos airport fills this webcam view near Campinas, in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Aircraft stand at the terminal on the left, and the runway crosses the frame beyond the grass and the perimeter fence.

Viracopos is the main cargo airport in the country and the base that Azul built its network around, which is why the aircraft in view are mostly one airline's. It lies about a hundred kilometres from São Paulo and was intended as the region's second passenger airport.

The stream carries air traffic control audio alongside the picture. Winter afternoons here are dry and hazy, and the far side of the field softens in the heat.
