Praça Salles Filho, Santa Fé do Sul Live Cam

The church tower at Santa Fé do Sul carries this view over the centre of the town, in the west of São Paulo state, Brazil. An obelisk with four porticos marks the crossroads below, and the low shopfronts of the main street run away from it.

The monument was put up for the town's sixtieth anniversary and carries panels on its history. The parish church of St John the Baptist stands behind the camera, and the open-air stage on the neighbouring square is used for concerts and town events.

Santa Fé do Sul sits near the Paraná river reservoir, and its resort status comes from the beaches on the lake. Winters here are hot and dry, and the dust shows in the light at the end of the day.
