New York-New York looks across Las Vegas Boulevard at the MGM Grand, and the webcam takes in the junction between them. Pedestrian bridges carry the crowds over the road.

The Strip is not in Las Vegas. The casinos along this stretch stand in Paradise, an unincorporated part of Clark County that was deliberately never annexed, so the city whose name is on everything collects no tax from them.

The bridges exist because crossing at road level was made illegal here after too many people were hit. This is the busiest junction on the boulevard, and the traffic through it moves at walking pace most evenings.
