Weather and time
This fixed view looks down the Hemlock ski slope at the base village of Boyne Mountain in northern Michigan. Autumn maples and birches frame the grassy run, with the resort buildings spread out below.
Boyne Mountain is a ski resort near Boyne Falls in the northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Hemlock is a marked advanced downhill run and shares its name with a two-person chairlift beside it. The run drops toward the northeast, so the camera looks straight at the village.
The frame shows long gabled lodge buildings, a tall tower with a clock face, ponds, curving paths and lawns, and a parking area behind them. At the left sit inflatable play structures next to a lift station, while snow guns on poles line both edges of the slope. The camera does not move.
