Weather and time
This fixed camera looks up the Victor run at Boyne Mountain in Michigan, where the resort piles up its late-season Victor Glacier. A line of lift towers climbs the hill.
Boyne Mountain lies near Boyne Falls in the northern Lower Peninsula. Victor is an intermediate downhill run served by a chairlift of the same name, and in spring the resort piles up snow on it to keep skiing after the rest of the mountain has melted. The foot of the run reaches the base area, so the slope rises straight up from the lodges.
In the frame, a curving paved path crosses the lawn in front, a timber-framed lodge with balconies stands on the right under large trees, and snow guns and lamp posts line the foot of the slope. The row of lift towers on the left leads up to the ridge. The view does not change.
