Alton Marina, Illinois Live Cam

This camera watches the floating docks and covered boat slips of Alton Marina on the Mississippi River in Alton, Illinois. The cable-stayed Clark Bridge rises directly above the slips, with its tall pylon and long approach spans filling the upper part of the frame.

The marina lies in Riverfront Park, a short walk from downtown Alton on the Illinois bank of the river. Overhead, the bridge carries U.S. Route 67 across the Mississippi to the Missouri side.

The wide-angle view looks along the main floating walkway toward two yellow dock buildings with blue metal roofs. Rows of boats sit under the metal canopies beyond them, and a rock bank lines the water in the foreground. The scene changes mostly with the light on the water.
