MacArthur Bridge, Saint Louis Live Cam

This camera on the Mississippi riverfront in Saint Louis, Missouri, looks east at the steel arch spans of the MacArthur Bridge. A long wall covered in graffiti murals runs along the foreground, with the river and the Illinois shore beyond.

The MacArthur Bridge carries railroad tracks across the Mississippi between Saint Louis and East St. Louis, Illinois, and is now used by trains only. The Terminal Railroad Association, the switching railroad of the Saint Louis area, acquired it from the city in a trade for the Eads Bridge. Union Pacific's Lesperance Street Yard lies a short distance south of the viewpoint.

The daytime frame is wide and steady. A paved path and a gravel lot run in front of the mural wall, painted rocks line the grass strip at the lower edge, and a red-brick building stands at the left.
