Choeng Mon Beach, Samui Live Cam

Choeng Mon Beach curves across this view on the northeastern corner of Koh Samui, in southern Thailand. Loungers and umbrellas stand under casuarina trees in the foreground, and the bay curves round to a wooded headland on the right.

Choeng Mon is a short bay separated from Chaweng by a ridge, with calm shallow water and a small rock island offshore that can be reached on foot at low tide. Hotels sit back among the trees rather than along the sand, so the beach stays comparatively open.

The water is flat for most of the year and the bay is used for swimming rather than surfing. The stream comes from a hotel at the northern end of the beach.
