Son Moll Beach, Mallorca Live Cam

Son Moll is the town beach at Cala Rajada, on the north-eastern corner of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The camera looks over the loungers and the water.

Sand is scarce along this coast. The shoreline is limestone cut into coves by dry torrents, and the beaches sit only where a valley reaches the sea, which is why a strip of this size has a whole town built around it.

The water shelves gently and is sheltered from the north by the headland, so it stays calm when the tramuntana is blowing. The lighthouse on the point above marks the closest land on the island to Menorca.
