Lakhta Center View Live Cam

The Lakhta Center tower carries this view over the Gulf of Finland, in the northwest of Saint Petersburg. The stadium and the cable-stayed bridge of the ring road stand in the middle of the frame, with the city spreading beyond them.

The tower is 462 metres tall and the tallest building in Europe, standing on reclaimed shoreline well outside the historic centre. Below it are the park laid out for the city's tercentenary and the beaches of the gulf; the ring road crosses the water on the high bridge in view.

Cloud sometimes forms below the camera, leaving the tower above it. The other Saint Petersburg cameras in the catalogue all sit in the old centre at street level, which makes this the odd one out.
