Ter Heijde Beach, Westland Live Cam

This beach camera overlooks the open sand and North Sea surf at Ter Heijde, a small coastal village in the Westland municipality. It is mounted on a sailing club building on the beach, with a broad sweep of sand and water in front.

Ter Heijde lies between Hoek van Holland and The Hague, behind a long sandy beach on the North Sea reached by the Strandweg. Dunes run along the back of the beach, and large ships can be seen on the horizon. Just to the north lies the Zandmotor, a sand peninsula built in 2011.

The view is not fixed. The camera moves between a wide shot of beach and sea, a closer view of the surf with a weathered post standing on the sand, and a look along the beach where sailing catamarans are parked near the dunes. The stream runs from early morning until midnight, so the late night hours are not covered.
