Kijkduin Beach, The Hague Live Cam

This beach camera looks over the shoreline of Kijkduin, a seaside district of The Hague, from a high rooftop above the dunes. Its views take in the wide sand, breaking surf and a row of beach pavilions at the foot of the dunes.

Kijkduin lies in the Loosduinen district at the south-western edge of The Hague, between Scheveningen and the Westland coast. The beach is broad and flat and backed by dunes with a boardwalk along their edge. It is the quieter of the city's two seaside resorts, with Scheveningen a few kilometres to the north.

The camera does not hold a single view. It swings between a long stretch of beach with pavilions beside the dunes, open sand with the dune slope, and a seaward view with a jetty carrying red and green lights on the horizon. It gives a calmer, southern view of the Hague coast than the cameras at Scheveningen.
