Higashi-Nibancho-dori, Sendai Live Cam

This camera looks over Higashi-Nibancho-dori in the Itsutsubashi district of Sendai, where a wide multi-lane road passes rows of street trees. A pale mid-rise building stands behind them, with a residential tower and a glass-fronted office tower rising beyond.

Itsutsubashi is a business and residential district in Aoba Ward, just south-west of Sendai Station and served by its own subway station. Higashi-Nibancho-dori is one of the main north-south streets of downtown Sendai, lined with offices, apartment towers and public buildings.

The camera is mounted on a building at the roadside, above street level, and keeps the same fixed view over the treetops. Cars pass along the road in the lower right, and red banners hang along the ground-floor shops under the pale building. In autumn some of the trees in the foreground turn yellow.
