Donau-Riss Golf Course Fairways, Rißtissen Live Cam

This view looks northwest across the fairways of the Donau-Riss golf course near Rißtissen, a village of Ehingen in the Danube valley. A gravel path, an information board and a lone tree with a bench fill the foreground, while greens, bunkers and hedges lie further out.

Rißtissen lies about ten kilometres east of central Ehingen (Donau), and the Riss river joins the Danube two kilometres north of the village. In the first century AD a Roman fort stood here on the road along the Danube. The golf club was founded in 2003, and its 18-hole, par-72 course covers about 82 hectares of flat land in front of the Swabian Jura.

Unlike the club's second camera, which faces the practice greens, this one takes in the open course. A white golfer statue stands by the path at the bottom of the frame, and villages and low hills line the horizon.
