Pfaffenhofen an der Roth from the Church Tower Live Cam

This camera on the tower of Saint Martin's Church looks out over the centre of Pfaffenhofen an der Roth, a market town in Bavarian Swabia. Its views take in the town hall square, nearby streets, the river Roth and the fields beyond the town.

The town of around 7,300 residents lies in the valley of the Roth, about 16 kilometres southeast of Ulm. The parish church stands on Kirchplatz next to the town hall, and its core dates from the late 14th century. In 1675 the tower was raised by two storeys and crowned with a double onion dome.

The camera moves between preset positions rather than holding one picture. It looks down on the paved square by the town hall and a tree-lined car park, follows a street to a junction with a turreted corner house, and turns to rows of houses below a wooded slope, a cleared plot by the Roth and fields at the edge of town.
