Slunj, city center, Croatia Live Cam

The main road through Slunj runs across this webcam view, in a small town in the hills of Karlovac county in Croatia. Shops and a supermarket line the near side, snow is banked along the kerbs, and cars pass on the state road below the lens.

Slunj has just over four thousand people and stands where the Slunjčica joins the Korana, at a series of falls and watermills that make up the hamlet of Rastoke below the town. The Plitvice lakes are half an hour further south on the same road.

This is the road that carries traffic between Zagreb and the coast, so it is busier in summer than the size of the town suggests. Winters here bring real snow.
