Praça Ary Parreiras, Miracema Live Cam

Praça Ary Parreiras is the main square of Miracema, in the north of Rio de Janeiro state in Brazil, and it fills this view. Palms and flowerbeds fill the middle of the square, and the parish church stands on the slope above it.

Traffic circles the square on a one-way loop, and the black and white paving on the near side is the pattern used across Brazilian town centres. Benches under the trees, a couple of shops and the church steps are where most of the movement in the frame happens.

Miracema is a small inland town in the hills of the Noroeste Fluminense region, well away from the coast. The stream is provided by a local internet company, whose logo sits in the corner with the date and time.
