BR-356 Highway, Italva Live Cam

This view follows the BR-356 highway on the south-eastern side of Italva, where a white open-dome shrine stands on the grassy median. Further ahead, the carriageways reach a junction beside a traffic island with large white letters spelling Italva Meu Amor.

Italva is a small municipality in northern Rio de Janeiro state, home to about 14,000 people at the 2022 census. The BR-356 runs through the town and links it with Itaperuna to the north-west and Campos dos Goytacazes to the south-east. Low green hills rise around the built-up area.

The camera looks along the carriageway on the right of the median, with the shrine, its benches and chain fence in the foreground while buses, cars and motorcycles pass on both sides. A petrol station with a blue canopy stands on the right, and a large cream-coloured building rises on the left behind the trees.
