The Fejér County (Fejér megye) is an administrative division in Central Hungary, in the region of Central Transdanubia. Fejér sits on the west bank of the river Danube bordering the Hungarian counties of Komárom-Esztergom, Pest, Bács-Kiskun, Tolna, and Somogy. A resort is set in Lake Velence with the towns nearby such Gárdony and Agárd, popular holiday destinations among Hungarians. The county seat of the county is Székesfehérvár, known informally as Fehérvár ("white castle").
