Dobó Square, Eger Live Cam

This HD live webcam shows Dobó Square (Dobó tér or Dobó István tér), the main square of Eger, the capital of Heves County in Hungary. The square has a low fountain and is lined with historic buildings, the main one being the Minorite Church. Built in 1771 in honour of St Anthony of Padua, it is one of the well-known Baroque buildings in the country.

Sometimes called the 'Baroque Pearl of Europe', Eger is known for its castle, thermal baths and wines. It lies on the Eger Stream in the Bükk Mountains, has around 55,000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in Northern Hungary.
