Wheeling Ave, Ohio Live Cam

Wheeling Avenue is the main street of Cambridge, a small town in the hill country of eastern Ohio, in the United States. The camera looks along it with a weather panel across the bottom.

From November to January the street fills with Dickens. Some two hundred life-size figures are set out along both pavements in scenes from the Christmas stories, dressed by volunteers, and the town gets a season out of it.

Cambridge made glass for a century: the works here turned out coloured pressed glass that collectors still chase, and a museum in the town holds several thousand pieces. The old National Road runs through on its way west.
